Team preparation for drone operator competitions

The Foundation purchased and provided the lyceum students with new uniforms featuring team chevrons with symbolic patches, headwear, and footwear. At the lyceum's request, we also purchased and transferred to the institution's balance sheet an FPV drone Cinelog 35 V2, two battery packs, and a HOTA D6 PRO AC 200W/650W charger.

In addition, the lyceum received 8 repair kits of Cetus PRO FPV drone frames for replacing those damaged during training, as well as two extra batteries for Baofeng UV-5R radios. These will help maintain reliable communication during practical classes in the "Defense of Ukraine" subject.

The regional UAV operator competitions “Drone Racing” took place on January 23 in the Kolomyia Territorial Community and brought together 19 teams from across the oblast.

Results summary:

In the juniors category, the team “Boyovi Dzhmeli” (Combat Bumblebees) from Obertyn Lyceum of the Obertyn Settlement Council took 3rd place.
