A memorial plaque to the participant of the Revolution of Dignity, KNU teacher, lieutenant of the 95th brigade Denys Antipov was solemnly opened in Kyiv.
On May 11, a solemn opening and consecration of a memorial plaque to Denis Antipov, lieutenant of the 95th separate airborne assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, took place at the Askold grave. The plaque was installed at the military chapel on the occasion of the anniversary of the death of the soldier on May 11, 2022 in the village of Dovgenke (Kharkiv region) in the battle with the Russian invaders.
Veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war, fellow servicemen from the Airborne Assault Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, teachers, students of Taras Shevchenko KNU and the Kyiv School of Economics, representatives of public associations, diplomats, Ukrainian clergy, relatives and friends came to honor Denys Antipov.
There were also artists and sculptors who were directly involved in the production of the board. During the event, representatives of the Taras Shevchenko KNU Military Institute carried the guard of honor.
The place to install the board was chosen symbolically, because Denys Antipov was a parishioner of the church of St. Nicholas on Askold's grave. The rite of consecration of the board was led by the bishop of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church Andrii Khimyak.
