Denys has been posthumously awarded the title of “Honorary Citizen of the City of Ivano-Frankivsk.”

By a decision of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council  Denys Antipov has been posthumously awarded the title of “Honorary Citizen of the City.”

Today, on Denys’s birthday, the honorary distinction was solemnly presented by Ruslan Martsinkiv, the Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk.

Denys was born in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk on June 30, 1989. His childhood years were spent both in the city and in  family’s village of Khotymyr. It was here, in the Prykarpattia region, that the values which guided him throughout his life took root — love for Ukraine, honesty, courage, and the readiness to defend his homeland.

This is where his story began — the story of a man who always chose to serve Ukraine. Even after moving to Kyiv, Denys never forgot his roots and remained deeply connected to his native land.
